S.H.I.F.T
Online course

A series of sessions created for facilitators working with Focusing, offering an in-depth introduction to the field of sexuality.
The module invites a deeper understanding of the sexual field and the unique mode of listening it requires.

This is the first time that the unique intersection between Focusing and sex therapy has been explored, shaped, and articulated in such a comprehensive way.

By the end of the course, you will likely feel a greater sense of confidence and clarity in meeting  with sexual issues through Focusing.

You will deepen your capacity to work with sexuality related addictions, desire and the absence of desire, sexual dysfunction, and other processes that arise within the sexual field.

Throughout the sessions, we will explore:

  • Working with the specific stoppages and internal blocks that arise within the sexual field, and the ways they manifest in process

  • Agendas in working with sexuality-related processes

  • Different shades and expressions of sexual post-trauma

  • The forces operating within the sexual field

  • Working with erotic and relational attraction in the therapy room

  • Understanding the sexual timeline

  • Listening to the genitals

  • The characteristic movement of a sexual process

  • And more

In addition, the course offers a space for deepening our relationship with our own sexuality through experiential exploration and self-inquiry.

Participants who complete the course will have the opportunity to continue into ongoing group supervision sessions.
